Hi there, how's it going?

I study the character whom I want to arrange their hair style.
It is pleasant work for me.

Through this study, I reconfirmed VOCALOID is very popular!

VOCALOID is a very useful software for people who write music.
Because we can let VOCALOID sing our original songs.

I think it sounds so fun but I do not know much about VOCALOID.
So this time, I studied about "subspecies" to arrange their hair style.

I was surprised how many "subspecies" exist!
There are many many "subspecies" I found.

They have various hair style.
It is the charm.
We can choose their hair style or clothes as we like.

Then I decided to try KASANE TETO's hair style.
I think her hair style is difficult to reproduce.

Today's theme is KASANE TETO of VOCALOID.
She is a songstress of UTAU software a series of VOCALOID.

This is a picture of completion.


Don't you think its curled hair is artificial?
Bevcause I used small tools to make this hair style.
I will introduce you later what small tools I used.

This is a wig that I use this time.


"Angel Bob" color:bloody red

This color is more high chroma than "renga(brick) red".
Also it is not yellowish as "akagane(copper)".

"bloody red" is really "red" .
The color of this wig came out very well as dyed by hair dye.

So it can be used for the character who has red hair.

I use following extension(hair bundle) too.

Let's get started!

First, I prepare for curled hair beforehand.

I think there are many way to make this curled hair.
This time, I choose most orthodox way to make it.
It is the way that used padding.

Anything is OK to be padding if it can be easily bent and tension.

I use this one↓.


Plastic folder.

It is OK even softboard or thick cloth as well.



Cut the plastic folder as appropriate width.

You can add it by cellophane tape if you need.

↓ Here is a picture that plastic folder on lighting.

Like this.

Join the edge of plastic folder with smooth.
Stick them tightly by cellophane tape.
Please adhere two sides.


Next, I need bond(adhesive) to attach hair bundle to padding.



It is easy to attach them if you prepare a spatula beforehand.
You can make a spatula with cut plastic folder like this↑.



Attach hair bundle that cut appropriate width.
Comb it softly to blend bond(adhesive) with hair bundle.

To make KASANE TETO's curled hair, I need additional small tools.
I will introduce them to you in next time.
